quelle est la différence entre WMS et WCS ?
Un WMS (Warehouse Management System) est un système informatique de gestion de l’entrepôt qui gère les informations et les flux physiques comme par exemple :
- Les opérations de stockage,
- De prélèvement et de mise à disposition des produits dans un entrepôt,
- Suivre les stocks en temps réel,
- Planifier les tâches de prélèvement et de mise en stock,
- Générer des commandes et des bons de livraison…
Le WCS, lui, est un système de contrôle qui coordonne et optimise les opérations automatisées dans l’entrepôt. Les deux systèmes peuvent être utilisés ensemble pour une gestion optimale de l’entrepôt, un WMS pour la gestion de l’information et un WCS pour la coordination des opérations automatisées.
